Sales and billing processes were spread across multiple systems, resulting in different ways of selling between teams and heavy reliance on manual effort. Contract changes, renewals, and invoicing required significant administrative work, limiting visibility into the customer lifecycle and slowing decision-making. As the business prepared for continued growth, the lack of standardization and automation made it clear that existing processes would not scale.

A Unified Revenue Platform Built for Subscription Scale

Ascendion implemented Salesforce CPQ and Billing to streamline and standardize revenue operations across regions. The solution aligned sales and billing workflows, automated pricing and subscription management, and delivered greater visibility into contracts, renewals, and revenue performance.  Mid-term contract changes such as upsells and cross-sells were automated, including prorated pricing calculations and synchronized billing updates. Renewal tracking and invoicing were also automated, reducing manual effort for both sales and finance teams. Integration with the finance system ensured accurate, timely billing and eliminated dependency on manual administration.  Usage data from the delivery platform was integrated and compared against contracted allowances, triggering automated notifications and invoice generation where appropriate. The result was a more intelligent, scalable revenue operation with consistent processes and improved oversight.
